First Screening of 2026!

We’re delighted to confirm that our first free community screening of 2026 will take place on Wednesday 25th February at 6pm at Cineworld, Bury St Edmunds.

We’ll be showing The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants (PG), with this screening aimed at those aged 5 and over. It’s the perfect way to start the year — bright, funny and full of heart.

Bury Film Group was founded in 2023 with a simple aim: to make cinema more accessible, welcoming and affordable for everyone in our community. Since then, more than 1,000 local people have attended our free screenings. For many families, these events offer the chance to enjoy the big screen together without the financial pressure that can sometimes come with a trip to the cinema.

As always, this will be a private screening in a friendly and inclusive environment. Whether you’re attending with children, friends or on your own, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance. To reserve your space, please email BuryFilmGroup@outlook.com with your name and the number of adults and children attending (maximum five per group).
