Grant Secured to Support Screenings

We’re delighted to share that Bury Film Group has been awarded a £2,000 grant from councillors Rowena Lindberg and Peter Armitage, drawn from their locality budgets.

This funding comes at a vital time as we prepare for our 10th community screening - a milestone that reflects how far we’ve come since our very first event. Over 750 people have attended our screenings so far, and this generous support will help us keep our events inclusive and free for everyone in Bury.

We’re incredibly grateful to Cllr Lindberg and Cllr Armitage for believing in our mission. Their contribution means we can continue making cinema accessible to families, individuals and young people who might otherwise be priced out.
