Meet George: Our New Film Reviewer 🎬

We’re delighted to welcome George Cobden to Bury Film Group as our new Volunteer Film Reviewer.

George is a Film & Media student from Haverhill with a real passion for cinema and storytelling. He enjoys films across a wide range of genres and is particularly interested in everything that goes into making a film work - from performances and storytelling to editing, sound and the creative work behind the camera.

Some of George’s favourite films include Whiplash, La La Land, The Hateful Eight and Prisoners, while Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese are among his favourite directors.

George has already been sharing his thoughts on films through Letterboxd and is keen to develop his writing further by producing more detailed reviews and analysis.

As part of Bury Film Group, George will be reviewing films and helping us expand the film-related content we share with our community.

We’re really pleased to have him on board and look forward to sharing his reviews over the coming months.

Welcome to Bury Film Group, George! 🍿
